St Lucia, Brisbane
The crew for this day had a large challenging tallowwood tree removal. The leaning tallowwood tree had a typical growth pattern of a species that had competed against other large trees in a close vicinity, causing it to lean and overhang on the St Lucia property.
It also had a large white ants nest on the main tree trunk which was a concern for the trees structural integrity. The arborist/tree climber had the task of rigging down large sections of the tree safely using advanced rigging techniques. The ground crew helped with lowering limbs and removing tree debris through a narrow tight access through to the wood chipper for mulching.
